Signs starts with promise, but over time, boring characters and plot holes galore ensures it unfortunate demise. To it's credit, however, Signs is NOT the ultimate stink pile of M. Night Shyamalan's directing career, and I do give him credit for taking on subject matter of this magnitude, but it just wasn't done well.
