This is one of my favourite ever films and it is the best movie from Shyamalan. The film's message is less about aliens and more about faith and belief in God. It's a powerful and moving tale about having faith.
Shyamalan's excellent creative flair as a director is evident everywhere and anyone who claims to have found lapses in logic in this movie haven't watched it enough! Every single scene and line in this film has a purpose.
The film also has some unsettling and scary moments and has the best score from James Newton Howard. Highly recommended (14.4.07), (12.3.13).
