This movie is everything one could ask for in a suspense/thriller. Some movies go for the jump scares, some go for the blood and gore, some even go for the mindless, heartless drama. This movie has suspense, intensity, and heart all in one.
It still terrifies me to this day. The way this story is told is superb, complete with some social commentary, and a very focused lens that doesn't seek to complicate the story with aliens, as much as it tries to tell a story about a family that happens to be attacked by aliens.
There is a lot to this movie and it will continue to amaze me.
