Review of Signs (2002) by Tristan M — 15 Nov 2015
I was very skeptical watching this film at first. I've heard so many bad things, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Does it have the Shyamalan pretentiousness in parts? Yes. Is the plot twist kinda meh? Yeah. But the rest of the film saves it.
The rest of the film is gorgeous and suspenseful and heartfelt and sincere. The acting is amazing, especially from Mel Gibson. The suspense is some of the best I have ever seen. And the arch of faith hit me very hard in a very personal spot.
I loved this movie despite it's flaws.
