Review of Sightseers (2012) by Mark J — 06 Dec 2012
A terrific black comedy in which a young couple embark on a caravanning sight-seeing tour of North England's finest tourist destinations (including the Keswick Pencil Museum). It all turns out a bit strange when Chris (Steve Oram) dabbles in a spot of random killing that draws in his partner Tina (Alice Lowe) and which escalates to a point from which there seems to be no return.
This is a really wonderful indie picture with a charming streak of originality. Be prepared to be slightly disturbed though...
