Review of Sightseers (2012) by Dilhara A — 27 Apr 2013
This is a very dark comedy and is pretty funny throughout until the final act where it actually becomes a little sad and too dark. Steve Oram is excellent as loveable maniac and they do a great job of making you empathise with his dark reasoning. Alice Lowe also does a good job as the emotionally damaged Tina.
The tour of the uk is also very sarcastic and it was fun to see my local pencil factory feature. Good but not great, possibly because of the almost serious tone of the final act.
