Review of Sightseers (2012) by Kenneth B — 31 Aug 2013

Ben Wheatley has certainly announced himself as a director to keep an eye on in the past few years. Sightseers is as funny as it is shocking. It does that the "sorry did I break your concentration" thing that Tarantino used to do so well, simultaneously causing us to laugh and feel some level of shock.

At least this is true early on, towards the end we have become conditioned into a desensitised state and are as indifferent to the murders as the two protagonists. Top stuff.
