Review of Sightseers (2012) by Daan D — 22 Jan 2014
Sightseers is bizarrely funny. But not in a laugh out loud way. I love my British comedies however this will not be for everyone. It came close to being of bad taste but drew its way back to the dark jokes.
Its an achievement in its own right because its so unique. I think this film is a bit like Frankie Boyle, you can hate it altogether, you could click to the humour and just find it so hilarious, or you could watch it once and toll irate it in the most light hearted way possible but on more than one watch it could just turn out to be entirely regrettable.
For me its the latter. I would recommend people to watch it if your still interested after the reviews, just because you cannot predict what your about to watch.
