Review of Sightseers (2012) by Aaron B — 01 Feb 2014
I don't get the appeal of Ben Wheatley films. This is really just another torture porn like his first film Kill List, with some very black comedy mixed in. Wheatley is a skilled director no doubt, but his almost sexual obsession with violence is disturbing and distracts from the experience, and what could have been.
