Explores the feelings of the main character well but to the detriment of other characters in the movie. For instance (SPOILER ALERT!!):

Sierra kisses her "boyfriend" while he has his eyes closed and thinks he is being kissed by someone else. That is basically sexual assault. The movie just glosses over this simply because the victim is a cool and handsome guy - but anyone can be victimized and their pain is relevant and important. It is a really bad message to send to teenage males that their consent is not important (because of course all guys consent - definitely not true!!) or that their feelings of being victimized are somehow less important than any other victim's.
