The movie, although starting out with potential to pursue a less represented trope- that of female friendship- flopped in making its protagonist likable and realistic. Aside from this, it struggled with pacing issues and general plot holes which guided the movie to a fast and unsatisfying conclusion which relied heavily on expected outcomes rather than a reasonable progression.

Although a generally mocked genre, past rom coms have proven themselves to be heartwarming and generally well connected. Although this movie aims for this, it fails to garner any real message or sense of completion.
