Review of Sideways (2009) by Pravin P — 01 May 2011
I haven't seen a movie that felt so real in lets say, forever? Even without any of the elements you expect from a movie nowadays, this one kept my attention for over 2 straight hours - and that is pretty impressive. The story is about two middle aged friends on a tour to the wine country in California for one of theirs' bachelor party and the events that happen in that week. Its very well directed and acted - especially Giamatti at the lead is spectacular. His mid-life crisis kinda gets to us. I wish there would be more such movies.
