"Quite Possibly the most satisfying Romantic comedy ever made".

"Best Reviewed Romantic Comedy of the Decade".

Rarely is there a movie that is able to get me to laugh-out-loud at the top of my lungs, but also has belittled my laughter into an emotionally-worn out and complacent sympathizer. Sideways managed to do both of these things for me, which proclaims me to say this was the best movie to be released in 2004 (better than Million Dollar Baby) This Best Picture Oscar nominated film (5 total Oscar Nominations-winner of Best Writing, Adapted Screen-Play), which took home more awards than any other film in 2004 (94 awards) tells the story of 2 college friend, who take a bachelor party through the wine country of California. One of the friends is getting married next week, while the other friend is a depressed English teacher, and out-dated divorcee-working on a novel he wrote to get published. The two embark on a wildly funny, but emotionally challenging road-trip. Both of them form bonds with two women. Everything starts out okay for them, but it then quickly turns into chaotic turmoil, and then has a conclusion that has both of them satisfied with themselves in the end.

The movies premise may look to be not that well constructed, but watching it all the way through left me completely satisfied with the movie's plot-lines and its conclusion. There is a good after-taste feeling (like a fine wine) in what this movie is able to bring to the table, which is an emotional and heartfelt comedy. Be sure to check out this film if you are in a special relationship with a particular lover, or if you just want to see a satisfying tale of romance.
