Two best friends go on a vacation through wine country, and find the local women are just as appealing as the wine.
Much like American Beauty, and Lost in Translation, Sideways is one of those rare comedies where the drama is just as thought out and observed as the humor. The characters are all very well realized and the laughs do not come at the expense of the drama.
A marvel of deadpan comedic value.
