The cast gives great performances. They deliver the lines with such spontaneity and natural appeal we become engrossed before we know it. The humor and heartfelt emotion in the movie mix to create an experience that is wholly enjoyable.
Alexander Payne knows how to capture emotion and add humor at the same time, a rare gift for filmmakers these days.
