I'm sorry. I don't like movies about pretentious losers who talk about wine in metaphor. The only parts I liked were the gag jokes, and I thought Giamatti was someone I couldn't relate to, or respect.
Stealing his mom's money, lying to his friend about not telling Sandra Oh- God, what a douchebag. A real steriotypical 'author' who's obnoxious, and an asshole to his best friend. The movie is well made, but goddammit, screw the characters.
And Paul Giamatti.
