Review of Sideways (2004) by Harreld D — 12 Nov 2012
A sort of anti-Deliverance rite-of-passage and coming-of-age, there are points where the plot's motion is bogged down by the most unlikely kludges to move it forward. Still, an excellent film for autumn to watch the remarkable ensemble cast pull off some amazing lines with plucky aplomb.
Don't watch it with a Merlot...
