Review of Sidekicks (1992) by Bakar G — 24 May 2017
Regardless of anyone else's opinion, I gave this film a 5 star rating for two reasons. Number 1, it is the perfect movie to get underdogs or bullied kids to consider martial arts as a way to develop confidence and assertiveness to stand up for themselves.
The 2nd reason for 5 stars, this movie prepared me for gym class when it was my time to climb the ropes. I would have never done as well as I did in proving myself to my peers in high school if it was not for this movie in helping to learn how to properly climb rope.
I have to say thank you to all people involved in making this movie, it is a childhood favorite of mine. Especially thanks to Chuck Norris himself and Jonathan Brandis who made a great underdog that I was rooting for.
