Although not the best, Side by Side is a great documentary about the filming techniques that are used in cinema, mainly concerning using Digital vs Film cameras. The film shows the origins and past and then compares the pros and cons of each type of camera.
The film is lead by Keanu Reeves and has some great directors that give their opinions on the issue such as James Cameron, Martin Scorsese, David Fincher and many others as well. If you are a die hard movie fan then I recommend you see this.
