Review of Sid and Nancy (1986) by Kelly C — 12 Feb 2008
So the only reason why I gave it 2 stars is for Gary Oldman, he did an amazing job as Sid Vicious! Gary Oldman is a rare gem, he can do almost anything and is by fare the most versatile actor. Chloe Webb on the other hand as Nancy was just bad news.
The woman looked like a dude... She really ruined it for me. I also did not love how they ended it, I felt like they needed to show it all the way until Sid met his deadly fate vs. ending it with the death of Nancy.
