Review of Sid and Nancy (1986) by Paul D — 25 Sep 2008
This film was not one of my favorites and I felt that the whole film had no point or plot just a bunch of drunken guttural noises. Chloe Webb was irritating in the role of Nancy to the point that I felt she had no acting credienditals at all.
But on a brighter note, I felt that Gary Oldman brought an a impressive performance to the screen. I am quickly becoming a fan of his. I also really enjoyed some of the lighting schemes and cinematography in this film. I saw at least two or three shots that really took my breath away.
