Director and co-writer Alex Cox's artistic version of a true story about a crap bass player who simultaneously becomes a punk icon and pathetic junkie. Oldman is spot on as Sid Vicious and Cox brilliantly captures a doomed couple's rapid descent into addiction with the help of Webb's portrayal of a truly desperate Nancy.
