Review of Sid and Nancy (1986) by John S — 12 Apr 2012
I was highly disturbed by this movie, which I suppose is evidence of it being a good movie and having the desired effect. The performances were amazing though Nancy may have been the single most annoying character I've ever seen in a movie (wondering if she was actually that bad in real life or if this was highly exaggerated). The young Courtney Love cameo is priceless as well.
God it is fucked up what drugs can do to a person. Not that Sid Vicious ever really had it together but prior to heroin he just had...life to him. Such a waste.
