Review of Sid and Nancy (1986) by Elizabeth T — 14 Nov 2009

Gary Oldman & Chloe Webb are both two of my favorites. I like the movie because first off I'm a fan of the Sex Pistols and I was always intrigued as to how Nancy's death took place. The only person who really knew what happened was Sid and he was not too sober the night it happened.

Something like that was bound to happen with the amount of drugs they were doing but to this day, seeing that there were no witnesses besides Sid, it makes you think about how exactly Nancy did die. Was it a suicide or did Sid really accidently or not accidently end her life.

I like this movie more for the music than the content. I also read the book and there were discrepancies between the book and the movie.
