Review of Sid and Nancy (1986) by Mykel N — 21 Apr 2010
Evocative, mesmerising illustration of a destructive lifestyle and relationship. Alex Cox does a fantastic job as a director with this film, guiding everyone involved into creating a singular vision. Amazing photography by the great Roger Deakins, and performances that are nothing short of remarkable.
Gary Oldman is the standout, providing one of the best pieces of acting from the 1980s.
