Review of Sid and Nancy (1986) by Rob F — 17 May 2011
Knowing the history of Sid Vicious it was a disappointment. The director captured the bizarre of him but they missed out a big key of the film. After Sid was released from prison 55 days later, he got a new girlfriend up until his death.
If they would have put that into the movie then it would havebeen much better. That would have shown how un-emotional the man was to have loved someone, killed her, then immediately replace her. Oldman did amazing as usual.
