Review of Sicko (2007) by Pedro A — 12 Nov 2009
8/10 I love well made documentaries, a great documentary has two things, they creatively expose a thing and then with facts they defend their ideas, Michael Moore usually executes the first point perfectly , but on the second one he always ends up filled with contradictions.
Luckily this movie is an exception, the US really needs to reform their healthcare policies, and through the film with sentimental examples and hard evidence he shows why. It is not normal that a country like Mexico, where I live has a general free health care system for their citizens and the most powerful country in the world does not.
With a bit of what the country spends on the airspace program or on their military programs they could develop a descent healthcare system. A good documentary that really exposes a problem that the US has and luckily is now trying to solve.
