Review of Sicko (2007) by Jason H — 06 Aug 2010
Whether you agree with his views or not, it's hard to deny that Michael Moore is a master of the editorial documentary. He alternates perfectly from comic moments to tragedy, and by the end it's hard to not be affected one way or the other.
Now, as I said above, it's an editorial, not a straight non-biased film. Moore has been known to exaggerate some things and distort others to get his point of view across. I know I'm going to have to do a bit of fact checking now that I've watched it. But you know what? If even a *tenth* of this movie is true, it's an outrage. The United States is being held hostage by insurance and drug companies, and sooner or later, something has got to give.
