Review of Sicko (2007) by Itamar K — 04 Oct 2010
Engaging, depressing, and intriguing. This movie is very pro universal healthcare, but after watching it, you probably will be leaning a little further that way, yourself. Sure, this film won't tell you everything there is to know about "our" healthcare system vs "their's," but who has time for a film *that* long? Moore did a good job at getting the viewer's attention and making one realize that less wealthy/successful countries are capable of running a better healthcare system than we have in the US.
Our kids have cell phones, their kids have health coverage... which is more important? ...there's a lot to think about and research after watching Sicko...
