Michael Moore strikes again with yet another eye-opener, this time in the form of Sicko. The documentary brings to light the horrible and corrupt enterprise that we know as Health Care, particularly American healthcare.

It's unreal to hear how many stories there are of people losing everything they have to these health insurance giants, while getting mediocre medical attention due to their HMO's and premiums not being "sufficient" in getting them suitable treatment.

It's disgusting behavior and in a land where we supposedly take care of our people, this obviously disproves that theory. With millions of people not insured, under insured or subsequently dropped from their insurance because it was too "costly", we are hardly a country that takes care of its people.

Michael Moore is brilliant in addressing this issue. He also goes to multiple countries outside of the U.S. that do have universal healthcare and talks to many of their doctors and citizens about their feelings on their countries system.

Critics claim that these countries are much smaller than ours therefore a system like their's would not be possible in the United States. That is completely untrue, if every citizen paid into the system like those do in other countries, we would subsequently have much more money to be able to handle the system and sufficiently attend to the needs of the people.

The highlight of the film has to be when Moore brings the 9/11 workers who have not been given health care benefits and have gotten sick from their honorable services to Havana, Cuba. That's right, communist Havana, Cuba.

It's is a beautiful realization of Che Guevara's dream, a country in which every citizen has the right to universal healthcare. Even those who weren't citizens were treated for free and given a proper diagnoses.

It was truly incredible. Throughout the film, Moore also does a fantastic job filling the documentary with plenty of wity satire, making it one of the funniest (yet infuriating) documentaries he has ever made.

Everyone in America should take a look at this documentary. In a country where narcissism is not frowned upon by the general majority, it should be a wake up call.
