Review of Sicko (2007) by Adam M — 25 Dec 2012
When I woke up this morning, I literally would have told you I would NEVER see a Michael Moore movie. But, I saw the trailer and it looked pretty interesting, so I went along with some friends to see Sicko.
I thought it was great. YES, it's one-sided propoganda. TRUE, Moore skews the truth of foreign healthcare and governmental systems in order to make ours look worse. But, he does shed light on a pretty ugly problem in the way we treat our fellow Americans - esp.
the poorest of us. On top of that, the idea of someone making a movie like this (telling secrets, making waves, being oppinionated) is a testament to what is GREAT about our nation.
