As I never saw the first Sicario film, this is honestly a review without comparing to the original source. Overall the film is well shot, acted and edited, though very little happens and it feels more like the precursor to an even larger film to come.
I think this film is a strong critique on US governmental power but also the drug wares that are still waged in North America.
