Review of Sicario (2015) by Mike C — 01 Mar 2016
An idealist is drawn into the murky war on narcotics as it traverses the Mexican-American border. I watched this based on the quality of the cast and I wasn't disappointed. Emily Blunt is convincing as an FBI agent that becomes an unwilling pawn in inter-agency incursions into hostile sections of Mexico.
Del Toro and Brolin are at the top of their game, the title gives things away a little but it is still worth the journey.
