Review of Shutter Island (2010) by Dr. F P — 17 Mar 2013
From the tone to the soundtrack, Shutter Island had a profound effect on me the first time I saw it. I couldn't wait to buy it on DVD, it's one of those movies you want to see quite a few times just to make sure you got everything.
It was tense, the acting was perfect, the plot twisted and turned. Coming away from the it I racked my brains to understand what just happened. Although pretty obvious to some I wasn't one of those at the beginning who immediately knew what was going to happen at the end, but it's still enjoyable when you already know.
