Review of Shutter Island (2010) by Paolo S — 20 Dec 2012
After reading the novel, both my expectations and anticipation for this film were set to high standards. After viewing the film, I can honestly say it was a solid screen-adaption of Lehane's gripping and on edge novel.
The film's believability and stunning performances evokes the viewer's emotions so much that you yourself are left wondering whether or not you are going crazy. Haunting and intriguing alike, "Shutter Island" will keep you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.
I can't help but believe that this film deserves a solid A.
