Review of Shutter Island (2010) by Niamh K — 28 Jun 2013
I found this movie...stressful. I mean, I liked it, it was just stressful. I can't say I fully understood it but I think I got most of it, maybe if I watched it again I'd enjoy it more? Well the thing that bothered me was that that bald doctor (who I thought looked like that guy from Star Trek?) seemed to be winding Leonardo's character up the whole time, even though I know he wasn't, I just felt sorry for Teddy or Andrew or whatever his name was. I kind of still believed he was the good guy.
But hell, it was quite a good movie, and I like a movie that can make me think. It seems scarier than any horror movie because it could really happen in real life.
