"Shutter Island" easily ranks as one of Scorsese's best films. With a mesmerizing atmosphere, a notable acting ensemble (from which Ben Kingsley, Patricia Clarkson, Emily Mortimer and Max von Sydow stand out) and a very good script which includes a truly grand twist towards the end, it's quite a tight thriller - a very solid mindfuck as a matter of fact.
