Review of Shutter Island (2010) by Steve M — 14 May 2015
A few films I saw recently take the view of the insane. So, I could see the ending coming on this one. The whole is quite well wrapped here, with few wasted events. We get bits of clues at first. We wonder if it is a trap.
But even following our hero, we can see that things are not right. He doesn't react normally and less so as the film progresses. Well done, but once again, how much of it reflects reality of insanity? Is it simply inspired by an insane patient?
