This was very disappointing. I adore the 1st 2 films in the Shrek series. They are witty, clever, & well-plotted. They were incredibly entertaining for both children & adults. This film, however, was so diluted you were never on the same plot line long enough for you to care about or really understand what's going on.
There are like 6 plot lines & none of them are original or endearing enough for you to become invested in them. The cast, as always, deliver great voice-over performances, but the dialogue isn't good enough to make their performance as great as the last films.
I don't recommend this film, but if you're committed to finishing the Shrek series, you could watch this without killing yourself, but don't expect it to be half as good as the other films.
