Review of Shrek the Third (2007) by Mloy X — 04 Dec 2012
Artie (Timberlake): You know, Shrek, you're all right. You just need to do a little less yelling, and use more soap.
Shrek (Myers): Thanks, Artie.
Artie (Timberlake): The soap is because you stink. Really bad.
Shrek (Myers): Yeah, I got that.
This was just alright; not as funny or etertaining the the previous Shrek films, the rock-and-roll soundtrack was also more forced in this one instead of seamlessly assimilating with the storyline like in the first Shrek movie. Although the story had a good lesson and heart, it was unoriginal, almost a bit cliche really. The humor was sparse and what little there was, was a bit on the lame side. Overall, forgettable and silly but not in a good way either.
