A bitterly disappointing follow up to the brilliant Shrek 2 and the original movie, this film has an underwhelming story and the additional characters are nothing special either. It's a pity Dreamworks didn't quit while they were ahead and it's also a pity that this film did as well as it did because they made another one that I haven't been able to bring myself to watch.
