Review of Shrek the Third (2007) by Moviereviewer45 — 02 Jul 2018
The rich flavors of it's storytelling, which is the main reason why the first two predecessors are famous and memorable, has simply faded away. Upon watching this, I simply say to the television screen: "Too bad for this great trilogy". The only notable qualities that exist in Shrek 3 is the appearance of its memorable characters we fall in love from the first two, and the decent humor.
Visuals quality is still the same from the second movie though.
There are action scenes in the movie that is quite good especially the princesses' rampage. But I missed, while watching this movie, is the heartwarming moments from the first two.
Shrek 3 doesn't contain any ingenious or original storytelling to tell. And makes you feel like Shrek 3 should not be even created just to save the reputation of the respected trilogy.
Overall, I'm sad on the becoming reputation of the promising trilogy.
