Better than 3. Doesn't quite live up to the first 2. Villain is ehhh. I liked the plot although it wasn't notably impressive or anything. There's some good Shrek-Fiona moments and all the voice actors do a good job.
Overall it starts kinda lousy, picks up some steam in the middle and finishes fairly strong but never rises to the heights of the first 2 films. I suppose those were just a case of lightning in a bottle.
Still a good film though.
