It's hard not to like this film, it has some great characters, the visuals are great and the cast are pitch perfect but it was a film spoofing off from other films and using pop culture that has become really repetative.
Aside from the great visuals and cast it does have a good plot and yes, it is a very funny film. This is Dreamworks masterclass of animation but I still think Antz is their best film to date. I don't dislike the film, it's just most of the funny moments are film related or pop culture and only has a few original gags.
Still a perfect family film. But the sequel is better.
