It seems, Donkey is entranced by the ears of Shrek, and they seem like miniature trumpets. The idea that supposedly occurs to Donkey, is, that Shrek is a very reasonable modest green ogre, but his ears act like Caesar's trumpet clarion, when Donkey has ears merely the shape of the Laurel wreath.
It seems, Miles Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy lived their dreams playing the roles. Eddie would like a pink dragon to cuddle up to, who appreciates that she cannot talk at all, and loves the speech delivery of a great speaker, and whose other pastimes are making toast out of living bread.
