An inventive and entertaining movie that was more than overrated upon release but is harmless fun.
Murphy's only hit since the Nutty Professor and only voicing a donkey for some comic one liners, shows how far his star had fallen.
Mike Myers who was also suffering career wise joined him for the 2 has beens to serve up a family film that is pleasantly amusing for kids and adults.
