Review of Shrek (2001) by Cj O — 15 Aug 2012
A colorful, but painful swan song for the career of a comedian with so much potential. Mike Myers had left such a strong impression on fans after his stint on SNL, Wayne's World, and then, well, committed career suicide.
Sure, it was smart money, these films rake in hundreds of millions each time, but at what cost? What's the cost of a cash cow? Your integrity, that's what. So anyway, this was the first one, and it was probably the funniest, though, to reference an actual funny movie, that's like being the smartest kid with down syndrome.
