Review of Shrek 2 (2004) by Danburrito — 11 Sep 2015
This is the best in the franchise. Puss in Boots is my personal favourite character in the series along with Donkey and this movie is a rare sequel that surpasses the original. It sounds clichéd (romantic leads who just got married must meet the wife's parents who are at odds with the husband) but it takes the concept and arguably becomes the best movie with that concept.
This isn't just the best Shrek movie, it's the best Dreamworks movie.
