Shrek was funny. But this one was even funnier. Good god, I laughed hard as a kid wathcing these films. The characters were as good as in the last film. The jokes worked even better. There was also some relatable dilemmas (well, not directly, since few of us have ever tried being an ogre).
This is probably Dreamworks's best work ever along with How to Train Your Dragon. Lots of good jokes, relatable dilemmas, funny characters, traditional but likeable plot.
