Review of Shrek 2 (2004) by Paul A — 29 Jul 2015
In my humble opinion, not only is Shrek 2 the best in the series, but its also one of DreamWorks best works and one of my favorite movies by the studio. Shrek 2 continues to follow the tale of Shrek the Ogre.
After he marries Fiona, he is tasked with meeting her parents, with her father not taking a liking to him. Also in the making are the evil fairy godmother, who is probably one of DreamWorks best villains, and her sly son Prince Charming.
They plan to get rid of Shrek and take over Far Far Far Away land. Like the first installment, Shrek 2 is spot on humor and with. Add to that its colorful and funny secondary characters and this movie easily tops its predecessor.
